Space
Space Management
If you need assistance with locating space for departmental needs, or just have a question about a particular area of campus (either outside or inside), you’re at the right place. Our professional staff members are here to help with a number of database and space planning tools. As a core responsibility, Space Management maintains and makes available to the WFU campus the university space plan archives and room attribute databases. We do this primarily through an electronic tool called Archibus.
Have a Space Need?
Surplus space of any kind is not easily found at WFU – our professional staff members are here to help with a number of database and space planning tools. To request space, please submit a Space Request Form. After submission you will be contacted by one of our space management staff and/or project managers. They will work to either provide you with information about a space or collect more information to begin the process of locating a suitable space to assist you in requesting approval through the appropriate university channels.

Need a Dig Permit?
In addition to the space and room archives this department oversees campus site utility mapping and issues Digging Permits. All activities which require digging (disturbing soil below the surface) on any properties owned and maintained by WFU require the application for an issuance of a WFU digging certificate.
