Wake Forest University’s Team Cleaning Program is an engineered, scientifically-proven professional cleaning process where cleaning specialists are assigned to tasks rather than areas.
Light Duty Specialists empty trash, spot clean desks, glass, light switches, walls and doors, pick up large pieces of trash and check under desks daily. They do high and low dusting, glass cleaning and clean handrails weekly.
Vacuum Specialists vacuum all traffic patterns, stairs as assigned, turn off lights and secure doors daily. They vacuum all carpet including edges and corners weekly.
Restroom Specialists refill dispensers, empty trash, dry clean top to bottom, disinfect brightwork and toilets/urinals, and mop floors daily. They clean hard water deposits from toilets/urinals and fixtures weekly.
Utility Specialists spot mop/clean stairwells, collect trash bags and dispose in dumpster, clean entrances and elevators daily. They spot clean carpet, recycle, wet mop and clean stairs weekly.
