Parking Permits for Students Returning from AbroadJan 2 - 14Multiple Locations
Parking permits for students who were abroad in the fall and will be living on-campus in the spring will be available to purchase a resident permit online beginning January 2, 2014. After purchasing your permit on-line, you are required to visit the Parking and Transportation office to pick-up your permit. Permits will not be mailed. Your WFUID will be required to pick-up the permit. These permits are $250 for the spring semester and expire May 31, 2014.
If you are an upperclassmen, commuting student returning from abroad and requesting an on-campus commuter permit for the spring semester, you are required to visit the Parking and Transportation Office after January 2, 2014. These permits will not be sold on-line. You will need your WFUID and vehicle license plate registration card readily available to register your vehicle. These permits are $250 for the spring semester and expire May 31, 2014.
If you are an upperclassmen commuter student and you want the free permit (Satellite Parking) or off-campus parking at Winston Salem First Church ($150 for the spring semester), then order the permits online and visit the Parking and Transportation Office with your WFUID to pick up the permit. These permits expire May 31, 2014.
Please become familiar with the Parking Rules and Regulations for any changes that may have occurred while you were abroad.
Any student who purchases a spring permit will be required to purchase a summer permit in May if you will be attending summer school as spring permits will expire on May 31, 2014.
For RUSH students arriving in early January, please park legally in student spaces. Enforcement will be in place whether classes are in session or not. Additionally, move-in policies will be in place so please review those guidelines about loading/unloading posted on our website for Winter Break parking.
On Monday, January 13 at 8:00 am, all students with an off-campus permit must be parked in the appropriate parking locations where the permit allows.
