The South steps at Benson from the Tribble courtyard will be rebuilt over the Summer ’21 break. During construction, the contractor will use the North half of the Tribble courtyard as storage for building materials along with heavy construction equipment to assist with the project. This side of the courtyard will be fenced off from public access.

To keep ADA access from the ZSR Library down to Manchester Plaza, a temporary ADA ramp has been built over the 2 ea. steps from the Tribble Courtyard close to Shorty’s Restaurant (see picture below).

From the Shorty’s patio area, ADA access into and out of Benson will be available through the lower entrance under the balcony, which will be open all summer under the construction scaffolding (See drawing below for reference).
