Leadership training: (5 courses, 22 hours total)

Bill Gentry and Barbara Stephens-Macri led a training session for the Lockshop and Maintenance Teams 1, 2, and 3. The session focused on equipping managers with tools and guidance to support success in their leadership roles.
World of Work

The World of Work event offered students a behind-the-scenes look at the work performed by the Maintenance and Utilities team. Staff demonstrated basic plumbing principles and provided a sound demonstration to show how noise can be reduced within building systems. The team also explained how thermostats automatically control heating systems and fan blowers to regulate indoor environments. These demonstrations gave students insight into the systems and technical skills required to support safe and comfortable campus facilities.
