Staff Appreciation Picnic

Wake Forest staff gathered on May 9 for the annual Staff Appreciation Picnic, a campus tradition recognizing the dedication and contributions of employees across the University. The event provided an opportunity for colleagues to connect and celebrate a year of meaningful work in a relaxed and appreciative setting.

Wake Forest Volunteers Build Beds

Our Facilities, Real Estate, and Planning team recently participated in a heartwarming event, supporting A Bed and A Book’s mission to provide safe and enriching environments for children. On April 1, faculty and staff joined forces on Farrell Hall Terrace to build 20 beds, which will be delivered to families in need.

Oddfellows Cemetery

WFU Facilities, Real Estate and Planning Landscape team transformed Oddfellows Cemetery, making months of volunteer work possible in minutes! This historic African-American burial ground, founded in 1907, is now seeing a revival. Hear the stories of restoration and remembrance.

Residence Life and Housing Appreciation Breakfast

Residence Life and Housing hosted a thank-you breakfast to recognize the team’s hard work and dedication. The event highlighted the strong partnership between departments and provided an opportunity to express appreciation for the continued support and collaboration.

Veterans Lunch

On September 11, 2025, Wake Forest University launched the Veterans Affinity Group with a meeting and lunch in Reynolda Hall. The group joins several affinity networks across the University and provides a space for students, alumni, and community members connected through military service to connect and support one another.
