Lot N Shuttle Hub Project

Shuttle Hub Project/Lot N: Construction fencing will be installed on Friday, May 20th at Lot N and below Poteat Field at the intersection for Phase 1 (installation of right-hand turn lane).

Once Phase 2 (installation of median) starts in mid-July, road fencing will switch over to the Reynolds Gym/Sutton Center side. Road traffic will be directed through the project site by the contractor and sidewalks will be passable dependent on the construction phase. Regardless, Lot N will remain fenced off and inaccessible to everyone except the contractor and their subs as well as qualified WFU personnel.

Pedestrians traveling from Lot W1 and points beyond to South Campus are encouraged to cross Wake Forest Rd at the crosswalk by Ketner Field and travel beside construction fencing along the back of the Reynolds Gym and around to Student Health in order to avoid the intersection altogether. There will be a fenced in construction lay down area in the upper part of Lot P; through traffic will not be affected. We expect the Shuttle Hub project to be completed (barring any unforeseen circumstances) by August 15.
