Closing Wake Forest Rd from the University Parkway Gate Entrance to the Carroll Weathers Drive Intersection

WFU Facilities wants to provide an update on the Wake Forest Road project due to dynamic conditions in the field, we are accelerating the schedule of Phase 2. Construction crews will be isolating and closing Wake Forest Rd from the University Parkway Gate Entrance to the Carroll Weathers Drive intersection from Monday, June 12 – Friday, July 15. Crews will be working on both the east and west sections of Wake Forest Road simultaneously. The intersection of Carroll Weather Drive will always be accessible via Long Drive. A few notes on the updated plan:
1. The west (shuttle hub) side of Wake Forest Road from Carroll Weathers Drive will be closed through to August 1st.
2. The University Parkway Road gate will be closed from Monday, June 12 – Friday, July 15. Traffic will be routed to the Long Dr entrance at Polo Rd and they Reynolda Rd entrance.
3. Carroll Weathers drive will always be accessible during construction from Elizabeth Phillips Way toward Palmer-Piccolo and Wellman Way.
