Construction – Intersection of Wake Forest Rd and Wingate Dr at Shuttle Hub project

Work will begin on portions of the concrete sidewalk and curb/gutter on Tuesday, Aug 2 at the Shuttle
Hub lot. It will involve demo of the existing curb/gutter and sidewalks, as well as re-pouring of concrete on
both sides of the intersection (across from the Lot N/Shuttle Hub at Poteat Field and at the Sutton
Center side) in small sections. Work will begin at 6-6:30 am and will be completed by 5 pm in the
afternoon. Because this is such a highly trafficked area, Whiting Turner will provide traffic control as
well as signage to redirect pedestrians around the construction area.
