The Turf Crew is primarily responsible for all the turf maintenance on campus. Other responsibilities include event setup, parking lot cleaning, leaf removal, and irrigation.

Spring brings turf repair, irrigation start up, peak mowing season and commencement preparation. Summer responsibilities are mowing, trimming and irrigation maintenance. Fall is a busy time with turf renovations, aeration, seeding, lawn fertilization, leaf removal, irrigation winterization and a busy event schedule. Winter tasks include snow and ice removal, leaf removal, turf fertilization and liming and equipment maintenance.
